Melbourne

Melbourne is the capital of Victoria and the second largest city in Australia with a population of 3.4 million. It is famous for being cultural icon, and is known for the good things in life - fashion, food, entertainment and sport. This is a city of style, architecture, trams, theatres and art.

In addition to that, it has the Twelve Apostles, located along the scenery Great Ocean Road, as its icon and the famous Philip Island's penguins to do the welcome parade to attract tourist all over the world to visit Melbourne. Snowfields, surf, mountain ranges, desert, rainforests and vineyards are all within an hours drive.

With its cosmopolitan make up, Melbourne is widely known as one of the world's the most liveable cities. With a quarter of its population born overseas and the continuous flow of immigration from Asia and Europe, it often claims itself as the third largest Greek city in the world and the largest Italian city outside Italy. Melbourne certainly lives up to this with its cosmopolitan atmosphere.
